Do I need a special licence to drive a motorhome?
No. Drivers should have held a full valid licence for a minimum of 12 – 36 months, depending on the vehicle.


What is the minimum age to rent a motorhome in Germany?
21-25yrs depending on the vehicle type.

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes 7 days in low season,   14 Days in high season


What is included in the rental rate?
This varies depending on the supplier, but generally rates include basic insurance, local tax, unlimited mileage.  Most motorhomes are supplied with personal kits (e.g. bed linen, towels, doonas) and/or kitchen/living equipment (e.g. cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, toaster). Some even come with a TV & DVD player.
What is not included in the rental rate?
Compulsory Pre-Paid Service Fee, One Way Fees, Insurance Excess

Will I need a credit card to collect my motorhome?
Yes, a credit card is required for the security deposit.

How much is the security deposit?
Approximately EUR1000 – 2000 will be frozen or imprinted on the credit card, depending on the supplier and insurance type.

Are there restrictions where I can drive the motorhome?
Yes, travel into some parts of Eastern Europe may not be permitted. Please check at time of booking.

Can I take a motorhome on a ferry?
Yes.

Can Booster and Baby Seats be fitted?
Yes they are available on request for some models – Please request at time of booking.

What happens if I breakdown?
All companies offer a roadside assistance program. Details will be given at time of collection.

Rental Rates start from $157* per day  based on 28+ days rental of A1 (2 Berth) vehicle in low season. Rates subject to change without notice.
Rates include: Unlimited mileage, Comprehensive Insurance, Vehicle Kit, Cooking utensils, additional drivers, outdoor cleaning after return, tourist info & local tax.
